Bridge-1 shows the starbrd side with the VHF radio, fan, anchor lite and throttle in lower port area. Below the cat is the open 'glove' compartment. The covering is up as it is raining out which the cat SeaLegs is calmly ignoring as we steam for home from Bell Island (outside Ketchikan).
Bridge-2 shows the steering staion and part of the seat with me in it! You can see the canopy is unzipped and open. Also note the 'glove' compartment closed on starbd side and windshield wipers.
Bridge-3 shows the canopy struts with the port side unzipped and folded down.
Bridge-4 shows the steps to the steering station on the bridge with the canopy sections removed. It was a rare summer day in Juneau! You can also see the teak wood strip on the lower deck and around the door.
Dock-1 shows the lovely flared bow and the canopy in place at the dock in Juneau. The boat has a 50 ft shorepower cord and a 50 ft telephone cord. Both have thru hull connections on the back deck for easily plugging in.
Dock-2 is a full view of the starboard side with the canopy up. You can also see the canvas window covering on the bow and forward windows. None on the aft windows. This is at Naha Bay.
Dock-3 shows the stainless steel rail which goes around the boat, the spot lite, the Danforth anchor. We are standing on the forward hatch which opens into the bunk area below decks. There is also the chain locker just infront of the anchor which holds about 300 feet of rode.
Engine 1 shows the 350 Chev block gas engine looking straight down with the hatch covers removed. Note the documented hull number and all that space around the engine! Makes it easy to check oil and get at things. There are two bilge pumps, one forward and one aft. The gas tanks are located on either side of the engine.
Engine-2 is a close up of the engine from the port side. The cylinder is the water circulation tank. The boat has the original owner's manual with it with the original engine manual.
Engine-3 is me with 60 gal gas tank behind me.
Stern-1 shows the two 5 gal propane tanks which fuel the catalytic heater and cooking stove. You can just see the top of the Honda kicker. It has an extra long shaft and is attached to the swim step. There is one thru hull line for the propane. |
Stern-2 shows the canopy in it's upright and closed position, the cabin door open and the vents on the hull. The other hole is the gas tank vent.
Stern-3 is a nite shot of the stern at the dock at Christmas in Ketchikan with the swim step and the kicker up. You can get an idea of the 11.5 foot beam from this shot.
Salon-1 shows the bench seating which the back comes out and becomes a bunk and the lower part is a bunk. Below the deck are four shallow drawers on each side of the salon. You can also see the blinds which cover all the windows except the very bow areas. At the top of the photo is the galley area with sink, refer, stove and microwave. The large seat back is a sea-green leather and the seat part is sturdy covering over thick hard foam pads. Custom built to match throughout the salon.
Salon-2 is the galley table side. The table slides down to make this a bunk area as well. The wood accents in the cabin are all teak. Just behind the clock is the electrical panel which is also accessible from the locker behind that bulkhead.
Salon-3 shows most of the 14 foot companion way through the salon. You can see a little of the grey linoleum on the lower deck. The door to the head is open here for kitten entertainment. Note the rugs all over to protect the cushions from little needle claws!!
Salon-4 shows the detail of the leater back supports around the galley table seating area. And of course our beautiful golden litter of kitties!
Salon-5 shows the catalytic heater, which is vented to the outside. Just behind it is another storage locker. This is the area from Salon-1 looking toward the stern. I removed the seating area and installed a space for my computer. All the parts are aboard the boat and can be easily restored.
